Healthcare systems go through an annual major upgrade cycle, putting laboratory staff through a widespread and expensive time prior to that next go-live.
Our large-scale validation services provide that much-needed help and relief, taking on the responsibility of the pre-go-live validations.
However, these healthcare systems are not changed just once a year, but are in a continuous flux, with frequent (sometimes daily) build and code updates. Waiting until the next major update to release an update is frequently not an option and assuming the change will work in production without testing, is simply impossible.
At AVS Health, we understand the need for those scheduled and unscheduled changes throughout the year, and have technology and services to cater to that more specific smaller testing cycle.
These can be scheduled in advance – a system regression test every quarter – or when a specific build (think the addition of Convalescent plasma products to be tested) or code update (hotfix or service pack) is necessary prior to the next go-live.
